I. Rain
He said it would rain
It was a beautiful and clear day
It rained
II. My earth is quaking beneath my feat
the battlecry of this generation too great
it shakes
And I'm praying I won't be moved
I will be proved by You
III. You spoke, it's here
mens' heart failing for fear
when the whole world's pushed over
with your fingertip
no your breath
No your thought
of returning

Einstein moves me
wondering what's like to have the world at your fingers
I bet Einstein remembers
He was wise enough to be foolish
with God rules and reasons to resist schooling
God do you smile when you think of Him?
Though not after your heart,
he loved your design and He kept thinking of it,
thinking in it, and writing of it.
Kind of like the way rust builds even when you scrape it,
kind of like the way rust rots away at fine metal when
we thought it was a polished, unmovable, god.

Woke Up in Love
I woke up in Love this morning
filled me to the brim
I was giving more and more
kind of on a whim
This was a way to begin
This was a mystery I hadn't seen
I went to sleep, a thoughtless
dreamless sleep, and I woke up
happy, trembling with joy
Love embracing me.
filled me to the brim
I was giving more and more
kind of on a whim
This was a way to begin
This was a mystery I hadn't seen

dreamless sleep, and I woke up
happy, trembling with joy
Love embracing me.

Wind in the Trees
And I know we can winter this
spin spin free
while the walls are closing in
you found meaning in the roots of a tree
The wind doesn't move it.
The God of the mighty wind causes both to stand.
Forests of trees stand.
Forests of trees moving, my music.
Join in praise;
And the trees clap their hands.
Let the people clap their hands
with the Wind of God to move them.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the voice thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8 ERV

Believe You're Never Forsaken
Cramped inside, someplace I can't reach
And He's ever reaching
I saw your fall before you went there
You have been going there for the last 3 years
Look friend, the virus that pulls you to the same sex
is the same virus that makes you deny that He made your insides
And I see in you all the beauty of the King
and at this moment it is everything to tell you that freedom isn't free
He's coming down
It's coming down
Earth and religion
and the other one to which they sing
And your calm cool collectiveness will be removed
And even your even-temper, even your smooth
Rocks will cradle rocks and the sea will open for the sea
But none of nature will hold us
It will be removed and flee
And all the children of men will pray and cry for the mountains to hide them
from the coming King.
His Majesty.
His Witness before only light.
Believe.
